J o h nkk H o a r e - W a r d - F. W. C. B. John is one of the most highly regarded traditional blacksmiths. He started smithing in 1974. He was trained by Tommy Tucker of COSIRA who himself was a Gold Medallist of the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths. John is also a Fellow of the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths and Silver Medallist. As well as commissions John has exhibited ironwork in various competitions throughout the country with a great deal of success: South of England Show, Ardingly. Won 1st prize 6 years out of 7. Royal Show, Stoneleigh. Won 1st prize 2 years out of 3. The Royal Welsh Show, Builth Wells. Won 1st prize 3 years out of 3.
